The Ecco Board

Introducing the Ecco Board!
This is a board that I made out of fire wood and the wheels from my skateboard.
This is what the bottom looks like.
This is me trying to ride it. It's pretty fun, but it's kind of hard. I need practice.
This is what the front looks like. You put one foot on each of the big boards.
I'm going to get get two bars and attach them to the front so it will be like a segway and it will be easier to ride.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I'm sorry I haven't posted anything in a long time. I just haven't had a lot of time. I've been busy with cleaning my room, doing my chores, and I'm exhausted from waking up at 7:00 in the morning every single day in the week just to go to band.
Oh, and I play the clarinet.
Today is Thanksgiving and we're having my grandparents and my uncle and aunt over.
My mom said I should tell what I am thankful for. I am thankful for the giant turkey that we have, our cats, getting to play the clarinet, having a whole bunch of books, and finally, last but not least the new computer that my mom got so that I can spend more time on the laptop.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

School

Last week was the first day of school. I am in 5th grade now. I like my teacher and I have two friends so far in my class. One was in my class last year and the year before and one is new here. I have lunch and recess with my younger brother now. I like recess. I play butterfinger, wall ball, and four corners. Yesterday my family came over for a school BBQ. My dad was really good at wall ball and now he's going to teach me how to be good at it. Since this is a new year I am going to try and not lose any of my reading logs. Reading logs are a piece of paper and when you're done with a book you write down the title of it, the author, how many pages it was, the date, and then have your parents sign it. Then, at the end of the month you turn it in to the library. And then about 2 weeks later they give you an envelope filled with 2 or 3 prizes. Here's a list of things you can get in the envelopes: free fries or drinks at Burger King, things for Dairy Queen, McDonald's, Pizza Hut, Applebee's, Red Robin and Cold Stone.
We are going on a field trip this month to the Oregon Gardens with my class and I am excited to go because this will be my first time going there.
Oh yeah, our cats have grown a lot! Tater is only 5 months old and he's already as big as pumpkin who is over a year old. They keep leaving dead mice for us around the house. Well, outside the house, not inside. Speaking of growing, I have grown too. I am 4 feet and 11 1/2 inches tall.

How to make your own tortilla chips.

My aunt and uncle were over the other ay for dinner and we had some tacos.
I had an idea to make my own chips.
So, I asked my aunt how to make them and she said that first cut up a flour tortilla, put all the little pieces on the cookie sheet, then put butter or oil on them very gently.
Then you put them in the oven at about 300 degrees. Make sure it's on bake.
Then keep checking the oven to see if the sides are curling up on the tortillas.
Once they start to curl up they should be done.
And that is how you make tortilla chips.
Everyone thought mine were delicious. (here is a picture of the ones I made.)

Step 2: Cut on the dotted lines.
Step 3: Bend where it says bend and at the waist.
Step 4: Color in slappy (optional)
Here is what it is supposed to look like when it is done.

My Fairy Tale

Once upon a time there was a monster that lived under the town bridge.
Every single time the town's people crossed over the bridge the monster would have to pay them. That's how badly he was treated.
One day the monster forgot that he lived under a bridge. When he stood up, his head went right through the bridge. When the town's people woke up they got so angry at the monster that they made the monster fix the bridge. Then the people never forgave him. So, the monster got so angry that he decided to...well, let's just say humans go bye bye.
And they lived happily ever after. Or at least the monster did.
THE END.
